Children’s Ministry Super Splash Summer Bash
Saturday, July 19th from 1:30–4:30 p.m.
Next to The Rock in front of River Academy
Elementary kids from The Rock, prepared to GET WET! We’re hosting a Summer Bash on Saturday, July 19th. We’ll have a huge water slide, slip and slide, water guns, water balloons, games, music, food, and lots of fun! We hope you can join us.
WHO: Elementary Kids from The Rock (1st–5th Grades)
WHEN: Saturday, July 19th @ 1:30–4:30 p.m.
WHERE: 1014 Wesley Ave, Greeneville, TN 37743. Next to The Rock Church in front of River Academy (Go up the drive past the church and we will be in the grassy area between the school and the Holston dormitories)
BRING: Healthy Snack to Share, Sunscreen, Towel
WEAR: Swimsuit or Clothes to Get Wet!
We realize many of our families have both elementary-aged children and younger children. Our goal is to provide something special specifically for our elementary-age group. For those who are able, we recommend one parent watches the younger kids while the older elementary kids come with the other parent. If needed for your family situation, you may also drop your elementary children off at 1:30 p.m. and pick them up at 4:30 p.m. We will have staff available to be with your children during the event.

Thanks for your interest in helping with The Rock Children’s Ministry! Serving our children at The Rock is a high calling and great responsibility. We appreciate your willing heart and helpful hands.
Did you know that we are serving about 50 children each week in The Rock Children’s Ministry? That’s where you come in. This important ministry requires 8 Volunteers each Sunday and 4 Volunteers every Wednesday. It isn’t difficult—it just requires a heart of love and service.
If you have a heart see the next generation of children serving God wholeheartedly, we’d love to have you join our team!
Requirements:
- The Rock Church Membership (and have attended for a while)
- Children’s Ministry CM Application (we will get this to you)
- Background Check (we will get this to you)
- Attend CM Training

The Rock Community Meal
JULY 2025 Community Meal: CANCELLED
Right after service in The Rock Lobby
In July, we will not be hosting a Community Meal. We will take this month off. This monthly event normally takes place on the last Sunday of each month immediately following the service in The Rock Lobby.
The main parts of the meal are provided and we ask that you bring an item from the sign-up sheet. (If you are unable to bring an item, we would still love you to join!) Items can be placed on the table in the Lobby on Sunday morning. We hope to see you there!
